The State Common Entrance Test Cell will open the correction window of the applications on March 5, 2026. Applicants who require modifications in their Common Entrance Test (CET) application forms can do so by visiting the official site at cetcell.mahacet.org.
The correction facility will be available between March 5 and March 7, 2026. In this phase, the applicants have to log in to their accounts in the portal to revise or rectify the details which are required. Candidates are only allowed to update some details on their application forms after passing through the registration process and paying the examination fee.
MHT CET 2026: How to Make Changes to the Application Form
Candidates who want to make changes on their application form can do so by following these steps:
Step 1 – Go to the official site of the MHT CET, cetcell.mahacet.org.
Step 2 – On the home page, open the MHT CET 2026 window that links to the correction window.
Step 3 – The next page will be opened, where the candidates are required to fill in their logins.
Step 4 – Once you have logged in, the application form that you have submitted will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5 – Check the form and implement the necessary corrections.
Step 6 – After the changes are made, upload the updated application form, and the confirmation page is downloaded.
Step 7 – Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.
Which Details Can Be Edited?
Candidates who have successfully completed their registration and paid the examination fee will be allowed to make corrections in certain fields of their application form. The details that can be edited include:
- Candidate’s Name
- Date of Birth
- Photograph
- Signature
- Gender
- Group Selection
- Second Attempt Option
Applicants are advised to make the necessary corrections well before the deadline and avoid waiting until the last day. The authorities are unlikely to provide another opportunity for corrections once the window closes.
The first phase of the exam will take place from April 11 to April 26, 2026, while the second attempt is scheduled from May 10 to May 17, 2026. The test will be conducted in two shifts – the first shift from 9 am to 12 pm and the second shift from 2 pm to 5 pm.
The examination will be held at multiple centres across the state of Maharashtra and will be conducted in online (computer-based) mode. Separate exams will be organised for candidates appearing for the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) and PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) groups.
