One of the internet’s biggest personalities is stepped into a wrestling ring for the first time on the grandest stage in sports entertainment. IShowSpeed made his official WWE in-ring debut at WrestleMania 42 on Saturday night at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Speed teamed up with Logan Paul and Austin Theory to take on LA Knight and The Usos, Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso, in a six-man tag team match that opened the show.
Photos and videos of the trio arriving at the venue ahead of the match have already been circulating widely on social media.

Born Darren Watkins Jr. on January 21, 2005, in Cincinnati, Ohio, IShowSpeed is one of the most watched online creators in the world. He built his following through high-energy gaming streams, real-life content and a raw, unfiltered on-camera personality on YouTube, where he has tens of millions of subscribers.

For his WrestleMania appearance, Speed is billed at 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs in at around 145 to 150 pounds.
What Speed Said About the Moment
During a stream earlier this month, Speed opened up about what the WrestleMania debut means to him personally, and it was clear the moment hit differently than most things in his career.
“I’m going to be wrestling at WrestleMania,” he told his audience. “I would’ve never thought I was going to be wrestling at WrestleMania like this, but I’m going to be honest, bro, from a genuine, as you guys know, I’ve been watching wrestling from maybe 6 or 7. I’ve been a fan of WWE since I was young. I think that’s the first sport I actually got introduced to was WWE. I think WWE was the first thing that I got into. Like, I was like 4. This is crazy. This is really crazy. We used to wrestle all the time. I just hope, me personally, this is one of them crazy moments.”
For a 20-year-old who grew up watching WWE before he could even read properly, walking out at WrestleMania in front of a packed stadium is about as full circle as it gets.
