‘Nazar Is Real’: Man Buys Cooler As Bengaluru ‘Loses Its Weather’ | Viral Video

nazar is real man buys cooler amid hot weather as bengaluru loses its weather viral video

Bengaluru is currently experiencing temperatures ranging from around 23 degrees Celsius to a high of 37 degrees Celsius, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Amid the rising heat, several residents have taken to social media to express how they now feel the need to buy air conditioners and coolers, something many say they never required earlier due to the city’s once pleasant and moderate climate.

A video highlighting this shift was posted on Instagram by a user identified as @breathein_breatheout__. In the clip, a cooler is seen being installed inside a home, accompanied by a text overlay that reads, “Nazar is real, Bengaluru has lost its weather.” The video was captioned, “Feeling betrayed by Bangalore weather, kisne nazar lagaya.” The clip has since gone viral, garnering over 10 million views, more than 850 comments, and over 1 lakh likes.

The video has triggered a wide range of reactions online, with many users agreeing with the sentiment. One user wrote, “Ye cooler 2 din use karne ke baad AC lena pada. Abhi pada hua hai ek kone mein.” (“After using this cooler for two days, I had to buy an AC. Now it’s just lying in a corner.”) Another commented, “Bangalore is cool, its people are not. Cutting trees in the name of development and lakes turning into apartments, this was bound to happen sooner or later.” A third user quipped, “Bengaluru was also betrayed by uncontrolled construction.”

Some users also pointed to environmental concerns, urging people to take action. “Please start planting trees and have plants in pots. Let’s try saving our environment. AC and all is temporary. I hope everyone contributes something to nature,” one comment read.

At the same time, a section of users said that despite the changing weather, they would still avoid buying ACs or coolers, calling it a “betrayal” of Bengaluru’s identity as a city known for its pleasant climate.
