New Delhi: A 21-year-old labour boy was shot dead and his friend injured in the early hours of Sunday (April 26) when a neighbour opened fire on a group dispersing after a toddler’s birthday party in . The deceased, Pandav Kumar, and injured Krishan, both residents of Bindapur, were rushed to RTR Hospital where Pandav was declared brought dead.

The accused, identified as Neeraj, a Haryana native living alone in the area for 15 years, allegedly fired after picking an argument with the group on the road – a single bullet piercing Pandav’s chest before exiting to strike Krishan in the right abdomen.
