Ajaypal and Bhavuk clinched the Intermediate Men’s Doubles title at the Pickle Up 4.0 PWR100 tournament after defeating Anshul and Dr Utkarsh 15-13 in one of the closest matches of the Rajasthan event.
The final swung repeatedly as both pairs traded momentum through fast exchanges at the kitchen line and deep baseline returns. Ajaypal and Bhavuk eventually managed to separate themselves in the closing points with better anticipation and sharper finishing during extended rallies.
Their aggressive positioning at the net proved decisive during crucial moments, particularly when the match tightened in the latter stages. Bhavuk’s quick reactions in transition play combined effectively with Ajaypal’s controlled placement as the duo repeatedly forced their opponents into difficult defensive recoveries.
Anshul and Dr Utkarsh stayed in contention throughout the match with powerful returns and strong counter-attacking sequences, but narrowly missed out after a series of tense late rallies.
It was a high-intensity final filled with long exchanges, quick reflex points and pressure moments, reflecting the rising competitive standard within India’s intermediate pickleball circuit.
