Shail Pandya and Samarth Bhardwaj clinched the Open Men’s Doubles title at the Pickle Up 4.0 PWR100 tournament after defeating Samarth Surya Mishra and Kaif Memon 11-8 in a closely fought final in Rajasthan.
The match developed into a tactical contest from the opening exchanges, with both pairs relying heavily on sharp net control and quick reflex play around the kitchen line. Shail and Samarth gradually gained the upper hand through more consistent placement and stronger communication during extended rallies.
Kaif and Samarth Surya Mishra remained within touching distance throughout the final with aggressive returns and attacking pushes from mid-court positions, forcing several pressure moments late in the contest.
The winners, however, handled the decisive points better, using patient buildup play and controlled finishing to close out the title.
It was a tense and fiercely contested final where momentum shifted repeatedly, reflecting the rising quality within India’s open-category pickleball circuit.
