Electric scooters are quickly becoming a common sight on Indian roads, especially in cities where short daily commutes, rising fuel prices and lower running costs make EVs amongst top choices. Two of the most popular choices in this space are the Bajaj Chetak C25 and the TVS iQube. Both come from trusted Indian brands and are designed mainly for everyday urban riding. But which one is better?

Bajaj Chetak C25 Vs TVS iQube: Price and Positioning

The Bajaj Chetak C25 starts at Rs 91,399 (ex-showroom), making it the more affordable of the two and is aimed at buyers who want a stylish, reliable electric scooter.

The TVS iQube 2.2 kWh, on the other hand, starts at Rs 96,422 (ex-showroom). While slightly more expensive, the iQube offers more variants.

Bajaj Chetak C25 Vs TVS iQube: Battery, Range and Performance

The Chetak C25 uses a 2.5 kWh NMC battery, which is floor-mounted for better balance. Bajaj claims a range of 113 km with top speed of 55 kmph.

The TVS iQube 2.2 kWh comes with a 2.2 kWh battery and an IDC range of 94 km. TVS also offers higher variants with much longer ranges, going up to 212 km in IDC conditions.

The Chetak C25 can charge from 0–80% in about 2 hours 25 minutes, and a full charge takes under 4 hours using a 750W charger.

Bajaj Chetak C25 Vs TVS iQube: Features and Technology

The Bajaj Chetak C25 gets a LCD display, Eco and Sport riding modes, hill-hold assist, reverse mode, Bluetooth connectivity, LED lighting, and a USB charging port.

The TVS iQube, however, feels more tech-loaded. Depending on the variant, you get TFT displays, turn-by-turn navigation, geo-fencing, crash alerts, anti-theft features, distance-to-empty readouts and Q-Park Assist with forward and reverse movement. It also has an IP67-rated battery and motor.

Bajaj Chetak C25 Vs TVS iQube: Comfort, Practicality and Storage

Both scooters are comfortable for daily use, as the Chetak offers 25 litres of under-seat storage, enough for a full-face helmet, but the iQube does better here with up to 32 litres of storage (30 litres on the 2.2 kWh version), making it more practical for shopping or carrying bags.

If you want a stylish, simple, and affordable electric scooter from a trusted brand, the Bajaj Chetak C25 is a strong choice as it is easy to ride, looks premium and does the basics well.

If you prefer more features, smarter technology, and multiple range options, the TVS iQube makes more sense, even if it costs a bit more.
