India vs Pakistan T20 World Cup Controversy Live Updates: Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has come out and confirmed that the Pakistan cricket team will not play against India in the T20 World Cup. This comes after a social media post from the government claiming they are not allowed to play the fixture in Colombo on February 15.

As per various reports, Pakistan’s outreach to other boards has failed, with no support for them. Cricket Australia (CA) and the England Cricket Board (ECB) are also reportedly not happy with the PCB. The Pakistan Cricket Governing Body has been warned of a legal case from the broadcaster. The ICC, meanwhile, has asked deputy chair Imran Khawaja to convince the PCB as back channels talk continue.

The decision was announced by the government of Pakistan on social media. The ICC has yet to receive any formal communication from the PCB. However, they issued a strong statement on the matter.
