IPL 2026 Auction: Full List Of Sold And Unsold Players

ipl 2026 auction: full list of sold and unsold players

The 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) auction is set to take place today (Tuesday, December 16) at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, with a record spend expected across the 10 teams. 237.5 crores can be spent. 369 players will go under the hammer, with 253 Indians under the hammer, while 116 overseas players are in the mix.

Cameron Green has the eyes of the world after he missed last year’s auction due to injury. The star all-rounder can only earn Rs. 18 crore, but bidding can go as much as the team wants. He is likely to get a record-breaking bid.

Liam Livingstone, Mateesha Pathirana, David Miller, Jamie Smith, Ben Duckett, Matt Henry, Quinton de Kock, and Jacob Duffy are some other players who will have interest from around the room.

Among Indian players, only Venkatesh Iyer and Ravi Bishnoi have kept their base price at the maximum of Rs. 2 crore. Both are set for big bids as teams look to fill big gaps in their squad. Prithvi Shaw and Sarfaraz Khan went unsold last year but are in the first set of batters and could get a deal.

A lot of uncapped players will also have interest with Karthik Sharma, Auqib Naib, Ashok Sharma, K Asif, Krains Fultera, Prashant Veer, and Raj Limbani, among the players that will be highly sought after.

Other Indian players that could get bids are pacer Akash Deep and Rahul Chahar, who are both in the capped category.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are entering the auction with the highest purse of Rs. 64.30 crore. Mumbai Indians (MI) have the lowest purse with just Rs. 2.75 crore, which is not just the least money anyone has in this auction, but nobody has entered an auction with less money in their bank in the history of IPL auctions over 18 years.
