Is Canva Down? Here’s What We Know About Saving Error

is canva down outage saving error

Canva appeared to suffer an outage on Wednesday with thousands of users across the world complaining of issues.

According to Downdetector, which tracks outages by collecting status reports from multiple sources, almost 5,000 people reported issues with the image-editing platform. The reports spiked to about 15,000 users in an hour.

However, Canva did not immediately address the issue or provide an update.

Users around the world have reported problems accessing the online design platform Canva, with many encountering blank screens and error messages when trying to open their projects.

Complaints have centred largely on the website, with some users saying the mobile app continued to function more reliably. According to reports, affected users have been unable to view, edit or retrieve saved designs, while others said they were met with access errors when attempting to log in.

The disruption follows a series of recent service issues for the platform. On 5 December 2025, Canva was taken offline for about 24 minutes due to a failure in Cloudflare’s infrastructure. A separate outage in October also caused extended downtime, affecting more than 550 users.
