Savannah Guthrie, the longtime host of NBC’s Today show, released a video message on Wednesday alongside her siblings, appealing for the safe return of their mother, Nancy Guthrie, who has been missing for days. In the video, posted to Savannah’s Instagram account, the siblings appeared seated together and addressed the individuals whom authorities believe may have contacted the family.
Savannah said the family had received a message connected to her mother’s disappearance and expressed a willingness to comply with demands. “We received your message, and we understand,” Savannah said. “We beg you now to return our mother to us so that we can celebrate with her. This is the only way we will have peace. This is very valuable to us, and we will pay.”

Law enforcement officials have not publicly confirmed the nature or authenticity of the message referenced in the video, nor have they disclosed whether the investigation has identified a suspect. Authorities have previously said they believe a crime has occurred and that Savannah’s mother did not leave her home voluntarily.
Nancy Guthrie, 84, was last seen at her home in the Catalina Foothills area north of Tucson, Arizona. Investigators have said she has limited mobility and requires daily medication, raising concerns about her safety as the search continues.
Officials have declined to comment further on the video or on any negotiations that may be underway, citing the ongoing investigation.
