Jordan Fish, the long-time partner of NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin, has been alongside one of the sport’s most prominent figures for more than a decade.

Hamlin, a multiple race winner in the NASCAR Cup Series, is among the most recognisable names in the sport. He also co-owns the racing team 23XI Racing with basketball legend Michael Jordan.

Authorities said a fire damaged the home of Hamlin’s parents in Gaston County, North Carolina, on Sunday night. The house on Blacksnake Road, near Stanley, caught fire and two people were taken to hospital. No further details were immediately released.

Fish and Hamlin announced their engagement on January 1, 2024, formalising a relationship that began more than ten years earlier. Fish was born on 27 October 1987 and is now 37.

She studied public relations and communications at East Carolina University, graduating in 2011. During her time as a student, she was a cheerleader for the Charlotte Bobcats, now known as the Charlotte Hornets, for two seasons.

According to USA Today, the couple first met when Hamlin was seated courtside during a Lady Cats sideline performance and the two made eye contact.

After her cheerleading career, Fish moved into business, founding the children’s clothing brand Bambinos and later becoming chief executive of the custom handbag company Kustom Klutch.

The couple have three children together. Their first daughter, Taylor, was born in January 2013. In August 2017, Hamlin announced the birth of their second daughter, Molly. In June 2025, Hamlin revealed the arrival of their son, Jameson, and missed a NASCAR race in Mexico City to be with Fish and their newborn shortly after the birth.
