A fire broke out at an auto body shop on 1212 Industrial Drive in Erie County, Pennsylvania, on Saturday. Local fire crews arrived at the spot and stepped up efforts to control the blaze.
Authorities said that the building, a single-story structure, caught fire with multiple exposures nearby.
Firefighters arrived at the scene and declared a working fire, focusing on exterior operations for safety. A firefighter suffered injuries when part of the roof collapsed.
A quick mayday was called, alerting all units to the emergency and triggering immediate rescue efforts.

The injured firefighter was safely removed from the spot and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Authorities have not yet released details on the cause of the fire or the extent of damage to the auto body shop and surrounding properties.
Another Fire Incident
Earlier in the day, a two-story house on 7 Caitlin Court in Kinnelon, Morris County, caught fire, prompting a third-alarm response from local fire crews. Authorities said that the blaze fully involved the structure and that part of the roof had collapsed during firefighting operations.

Firefighters worked swiftly to contain the flames. A vehicle inside the garage was also affected by the fire, according to officials.
