A woman from the Greater Noida has accused her husband and four of his family members of misleading her about the way her husband looked, the educational qualifications and financial status he had before their marriage. In addition to these claims, the woman is alleging that her husband, abused her physically, blackmailed her, and forced her to participate in drug dealing after the couple got married, PTI reported.
Lavika Gupta, a resident of Gaur City Avenue-I, said that before marrying Sanyam Jain (the husband), she had been told that he had “thick hair,” but after their marriage on January 16, 2024, she found out that he was bald and wore a hair patch.
As stated in the complaint (FIR) filed at the Bisrakh police station, Gupta claims that before her marriage, there were significant discrepancies in information provided about Jain’s life and that information was purposely held back from her before they got married. An investigation by police into these claims is ongoing. In her complaint, she claimed that her husband is completely bald and uses a hair patch, while she was told at the time of marriage that he had thick hair, according to the PTI report.
