The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the University Grants Commission – National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) results and final answer key today, February 4, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the entrance test can check their qualifying status, download their scorecards and revised answer key through the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in, using their login credentials.
According to the official schedule, NTA conducted UGC NET 2025 on December 31 and January 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7, 2026. The answer key was issued on January 14, and candidates had until January 17, 2026, to raise objections.
“The result will be compiled based on the final answer key declared. No grievance with regard to answer key(s) after the declaration of result/NTA Score of UGC-NET December 2025 will be entertained,” the official bulletin reads.

Can I apply for revaluation or rechecking?
No! There shall be no re-evaluation/re-checking of the result. No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained.
Cancellation of Result
The result of UGC-NET December 2025 of the candidate(s) who indulges in Unfair means Practices will be cancelled and will not be declared. Similarly, the result of those candidates who appear from the Centre other than the one allotted to them or allow another candidate/person to write the exam on his/her behalf will be cancelled. No plea will be entertained in this regard.
The record of UGC-NET December 2025 will be preserved up to 90 days from the date of declaration of result.
