Severe weather swept through parts of North Texas on Tuesday, with a confirmed tornado causing damage east of Mineral Wells and large hail impacting nearby areas.
Storm chasers reported heavy damage in Wolters Village in Mineral Wells, where a strong rain-wrapped tornado moved through. The storms also affected the Weatherford area, bringing destructive conditions across the region.

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth said a tornado warning remained in effect for southeastern Parker County until 6:15 PM CDT. At 5:59 PM, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Annetta, about 9 miles southeast of Weatherford, moving southeast at 25 mph.
Forecasters warned of hazards including a possible tornado and hail up to two inches in diameter. Communities in the storm’s path include Aledo, Annetta, Cresson, Annetta South, and Annetta North.
Officials cautioned that flying debris could be life-threatening and urged residents to take immediate shelter in a sturdy building, moving to an interior room on the lowest floor and avoiding windows.
Severe thunderstorms and tornado-producing systems swept across northeastern Texas, including the Dallas–Fort Worth region, extending into southern Oklahoma and northwestern Louisiana, including Shreveport.
Multiple watches and warnings were issued by the National Weather Service as dangerous conditions developed across the region.
