The examination date for re-NEET has been announced, and 22 lakh students have now been given time till June 21 to prepare for the medical entrance examination again. While some may see it as a second chance, for many it feels like their wounds have been digged at again, when they had just started their healing process. Students who had already spent years preparing for this exam, and had thought that the tough days are over, are now back at their study tables revising the same chapters, solving the same mock tests, and battling the same anxiety all over again.
To help students at this time of ‘crisis’, some coaching centres are now offering free classes for students who were already enrolled in their NEET UG 2026 batch.
Nitin Vijay (NV sir) has announced that his coaching centre, Motion Education has decided to offer free courses for all students who had attended the classes in the NEET UG 2026 batch. “We will give students the opportunity to come back and study with us for Re-NEET exam scheduled on June 21. Additionally, Motion Education will now ensure that students can access our resources free of cost on YouTube, while test papers and study material will be available free of cost on our app,” he told Timesnownews.com.

“We have also decided to help students from the 2025 batch who are re-appearing for NEET UG 2026. The students who scored above 400 in NEET UG 2025 can now come back to our Kota cenrtre and enroll in free offline classes,” he added.
Similarly, Deeksha Vedantu has also launched a ‘Re-NEET’ initiative under which the institute is providing free NEET-pattern rigorous mock tests, performance analysis and improvement guidance, strategic revision support and doubt clarification, time-management and exam temperament training, and structured preparation assistance from experienced academic teams.

“Many aspirants had mentally concluded their preparation journey after the May 3 examination, so being asked to prepare again can naturally lead to anxiety, frustration, self-doubt, and fatigue,” said Dr. Sridhar G, Founder, Deeksha Vedantu. “Rather than focusing only on whether the date is early or late, our priority is to ensure that students use this additional time productively without feeling overwhelmed. With the right guidance, revision strategy, and emotional support, this period can still become an opportunity for students to improve their performance and approach the exam with greater confidence.”
Allen, too, has announced free support for all students, starting from today (May 15). Under this, Allen is claiming that they will provide daily NEET pattern tests with national-level benchmarking, daily score booster classes, and daily detailed paper solution for free.
While students are happy with the support being provided, experts are cautioning students to not share their data with any other coaching centre now.
“This is a disaster situation that is being misused by coaching centres for their personal vendetta,” said Keshav Agarwal, Vice President of the Coaching Federation of India. “But students and parents should carefully think before sharing their data with institutions. If coaching centres genuinely want to help, the material should be freely available to everyone without mandatory registrations. Many institutes also use these registrations later to associate toppers with their brands.”
Experts believe it is something like ‘Topper Farming’ where institutes subtly pressure applicants into registering, so they can secure a long list of toppers and splash them across newspaper ads to pitch themselves as centres with best academic results.
“Re-NEET is not just about testing Physics-Chemistry-Biology anymore, but is a test of your dedication and determination. Think of it this way: a doctor is supposed to stay calm and yet perform their best, so this is your test for the same. Be a good doctor and do your best in this emergency situation by staying calm, consistent and staying determined,” NV Sir concluded on a positive note.
