nitin vijay shares powerful message: ‘degrees open doors, but curiosity keeps you relevant’

Nitin Vijay, commonly known as NV Sir, is the famous teacher on whom the Kota Factory character of Jeetu Bhaiya was based. NV Sir is the founder and CEO of Motion Education and is one of the most famous names you will hear of, mostly in Kota. Nitin Vijay teaches physics to JEE Main, Advanced and NEET aspirants.

In a recent LinkedIn post, Nitin Vijay says, “Degrees were never meant to mark the end of learning; they were meant to open the door to it. Over time, many of us began seeing them as the final destination rather than the starting point. “We follow a familiar path: school, then college, then a degree, and finally a job, believing that’s where growth stops. In reality, education does not end with a certificate. It continues through experiences, curiosity, and constant learning that shape individuals beyond the classroom.

According to him, milestones get completed & learning gives way to routine. But the world does not stop just because we stop learning. Technology keeps changing, industries keep evolving, and fresh ideas replace outdated ones.

What used to be enough quickly becomes useless, reminding us that to stay relevant, we need to keep learning, be flexible, and be willing to change as the world changes.

NV Sir also stated that those who treat learning as just a phase often find their growth slowing down at the same point. That’s why he reminds his students of a simple idea: education isn’t a milestone; it’s an ongoing journey meant to be experienced and embraced. For students, it may feel like preparation for the future, but for professionals, founders, and leaders, it becomes essential for survival. Today, the real advantage lies not in what you already know, but in how quickly you can keep learning and adapting.

At last, he concluded by saying that “a degree might help various individuals through the first door, but it’s their curiosity that keeps new opportunities coming their way. The learning process should not hinder you; once you are qualified, it should keep evolving with you. At last, he asks a question: What new things are you learning today that will help you stay relevant and grow tomorrow?
