The strong pre-release hype for Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar has translated into box office numbers. Despite premium ticket pricing in urban cities, the audience filled theatres over the weekend. The film’s performance in the first weekend has surprised trade analysts. As Dhurandhar gears up for the first Monday test, the espionage thriller has touched the Rs 100 crore mark.

According to Sacnilk’s early estimates, Dhurandhar earned Rs 39.5 crore on Sunday, taking the box office total to Rs 99.5 crore. The film took an opening with Rs 28 crore. On Saturday, it minted Rs 32 crore. Now, all eyes are on the first Monday test.

On Sunday, the makers of Dhurandhar released the viral song picturised on Akshaye Khanna. The Bahraini song, FA9LA, is performed and written by Flipperachi. It released in 2024 and is currently available on YouTube worldwide.
About Dhurandhar
Dhurandhar follows the story of Hamza Ali Mazari, a young mysterious man, who joins Rehman Dakait’s gang, but with an ulterior motive. He marries the daughter of an influential Pakistani politician for a reason. It is revealed that Hamza is India’s spy in Pakistan who enters the underworld to leak details of their activities.
Dhurandhar, also starring Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi and others, released in theatres on December 5. The second part of Dhurandhar arrives in theatres on March 19, 2026. The film is directed by Aditya Dhar.
