And now, he is closing in 2025 with another banger of a performance in Dhurandhar, also starring Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun.
Not only social media, Akshaye Khanna has also set box office on fire with both Chhaava and Dhurandhar. While the historical remains to be the highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2025, the spy thriller is well on course to become a huge blockbuster. Directed by Laxman Utekar and released in February, Chhaava was a box office juggernaut. Vicky and Akshaye’s respective powerful acts propelled the film past Rs 600 crore in Hindi. On the other hand, Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar has created a similar box office storm and has already zoomed past Rs 150 crore.
