Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer features the return of Peter Parker
On social media, Sony Pictures Entertainment released the trailer stating, “A Brand New Day starts now.” In the first look at the superhero hero, a lonely Spider-Man/Peter Parker has written a letter to his friend Ned (Jacob Batalon) and MJ (Zendaya). At the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home Parker made a sacrifice to save New York City and the multiverse from being ripped apart and it included that everyone forgot that he was Spider-Man. The trailer also includes shots of Peter stopping by the grave of his aunt, May Parker (Marisa Tomei).

The trailer includes the return of two MCU characters as Jon Bernthal’s Punisher aka Frank Castle, Spider-Man’s frenemy and Mark Ruffalo’s Dr. Bruce Banner. While Punisher and Spider-Man have a love-hate relationship, Peter goes to Dr Banner to find out what’s wrong with him. Banner does not recognise the young man and tells him that that his DNA is mutating and it could be dangerous.
