Abhijeet Dipke’s ‘5 PM Deadline’ For Education Minister’s Resignation Ends – What’s Next For CJP?

5 pm deadline for dharmendra pradhan? cockroach party founder threatens pan-india protest

Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke on Saturday gave Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan an ultimatum to resign by 5 pm today, warning that his party would launch nationwide protests if the minister fails to step down from his position over alleged examination-related irregularities.

Addressing supporters at Jantar Mantar, Dipke said demonstrations would be held across multiple cities in India over the next week. He also announced plans for another large-scale protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar next Saturday, signalling that the agitation would intensify in the coming days.

As the CJP’s deadline for Education Minister’s resignation ended at 5 pm today, no response was received from the government.

With the deadline now over and no indication of action against the Education Minister, attention is likely to shift to whether the Cockroach Janata Party can sustain the momentum through its proposed nationwide demonstrations. The coming week is expected to determine whether the movement remains a symbolic protest or evolves into a broader campaign.

FIR Against CJP

The protest organised by members and supporters of the youth-led satirical organisation Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) at Jantar Mantar in Delhi concluded before 5 pm on Saturday. Following the demonstration, a complaint was lodged against the CJP, alleging anti-national activities.

The complaint further claimed that the organisation’s activities were being financed through foreign funding.

The allegations surfaced after CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke led a protest demanding accountability over the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak and alleged irregularities in the CBSE’s On-Screen Marking (OSM) evaluation process.
