Veteran actress Navnindra Behl has died. On March 16, her screenwriter-son, Kanu Behl, announced heartbreaking news about his mother’s demise on Instagram. He shared a throwback picture of his late mother on social media and penned an emotional note. For the unversed, Navnindra Behl was 76 and had worked in theatre, movies and television as director, writer and actor. She had written and directed a number of stage plays in Punjab. Kangana Ranaut’s Queen co-star’s demise is indeed a big loss to Indian cinema. Many celebrities have started expressing grief over Navnindra Behl’s death.

Navnindra Behl is no more

Kanu Behl penned a note on his Instagram handle. In the emotional caption, the screenwriter called his late mother, Navnindra Behl, his ‘Titan’, ‘Faith’. ‘Love’, ‘Guide’, ‘Mentor’ and everything. He wrote, “Until you birth me again.”

He further mentioned that his eyes shall always seek her irrepressible smile, bear hug and those burning, curious eyes. He thanked his mother for lighting up his soul.

Kanu Behl’s post is going viral on social media and many celebrities have started reacting to it. Harshvarrdhan Kapoor wrote, “Terribly sorry for your loss.”

Ranvir Shorey, Mrs director Arati Kadav, Mansi Shrivastava and others also mourned the demise of Navnindra Behl.
