missile debris crashes in haifa? video shows burning fragment falling in israel

A video showing debris of an alleged Iranian ballistic missile crashing into the ground in northern Israel has gone viral on social media. The footage shows a burning fragment falling and hitting an area in Haifa during what Israeli media reports describe as a missile attack.

According to The Times of Israel, no injuries were reported in the incident.

However, there is no official statement from Iran or its state media confirming the missile attack.

In a separate incident, four people were injured when a Hezbollah rocket from Lebanon struck a home in Kiryat Shmona, according to Times Of Israel report. At the same time, Israel experienced fourteen missile salvos targeting central, northern, and southern areas, including Jerusalem, where four sirens sounded around midnight.

One of Iran’s missile volleys toward the north caused falling fragments from an intercepted missile to hit the Bazan oil refinery and cut power in the Krayot suburbs of Haifa, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

Rescue services reported no injuries from the Bazan refinery incident. The Israel Fire and Rescue Service sent 12 fire and rescue teams to the site. They scanned the area, extinguished a fire, and confirmed there were no casualties.

Meanwhile, Iran’s military force, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, said its latest attacks hit parts of central and southern Israel, including areas near Tel Aviv. It also targeted some United States Armed Forces bases in the region, according to Al Jazeera report.
