The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has released the class 8 exam result for all students who had appeared for the exams in the 2025-26 academic year. Students should note that only school principals and authorities will be able to download the marksheets of the students enrolled in their schools. No student will be allowed to download their own marksheets from the JAC website. School authorities can download the marksheets of all enrolled students from the official JAC website, i.e. jacresults.com.

To check the marksheets of all enrolled students, school authorities will have to key in their registered username and password.

Here’s a quick guide for students on how can they download the JAC 8th results for their students:

Step 1: Visit the official website – jacresults.com

Step 2: Click on the link for “JAC Class 8th Scorecard 2026” available on the homepage

Step 3: Enter your login credentials such as registration number and password

Step 4: Click on the submit button

Step 5: The JAC 8th scorecard PDF will appear on the screen

Step 6: Download the scorecard and save it for future reference

Step 7: Take a printout of the scorecard for further use

As per a report by India TV, a total of 4.81 lakh (4,81,647) students cleared the JAC 8th exam, with the overall pass percentage being recorded at 93.31 per cent. Like many other boards, even in Jharkhand board class 8 exams, female students have outperformed male students, as the pass percentage for girls has been recorded at 93.70 per cent, and 92.89 per cent for boys.

The final marksheets for JAC 8th class will be issued by schools by next week or the end of the month. Students should contact their schools for the final marksheets and promotion to next class.
